the ever-stylish Anderson family {NJ Family Photographer | NYC Family Photographer}

It's been 2 years since my first meeting with the Anderson family, then a family of four they have now grown to a family of five. They were adorable and fun then, but I think I loved our afternoon together this year even more. The girls were decked out in fur and tutu's (making me a little jealous that I don't have a girl to dress on a daily basis) and Colin (the amazing big brother) looked oh so handsome in his sweater and loafers. It was the perfect fall look combined with an incredibly sweet and photogenic family...seriously, what more could I ask for? Enjoy the preview!

sweet morning in with Sharon, Michael, and Liam {NYC Family Photographer}

I think there's something so sweet about capturing a family in their own element, so I was really excited when we decided to schedule the Reilly family shoot indoors. We spent most of our time playing inside their 23rd floor apartment (making for great lighting on my part). I got to see all of Liam's tricks...up/down on the bed (definitely a favorite), some really great dancing, lots of reading, and so much more! Then we ventured up to the roof and out to the park for even more fun shots. Thank you for such a fun morning and for letting me be a small part of your family routines!

a fall meeting with Sopi and Jed {NYC Children's Photographer}

This is my 2nd fall with Sopi and Jed and I loved it just as much as the first. These 2 come with a lot of spirit and energy and I'm so glad to be able to capture it! This year we met for a mini-session at the garden of St. John the Divine (a truly stunning place to be)...the perfect fall backdrop. Thanks for a great afternoon! Enjoy the preview!

a morning in Staten Island with the Gonzalez family {Staten Island Family Photographer | NYC Family Photographer}

This photo shoot brings things completely full circle for me. It was nearly 2 years ago that I photographed Michele and Paul on their wedding day in Central Park and this morning I got to meet AJ, their 10 month old son. AJ is one of the happiest babies you'll ever meet, so you can imagine how hard my job was:) We played inside, played outside, and even took a walk on the boardwalk (one of my favorite things no matter what season it is). I love our shoot, but even more I loved catching a glimpse of their life as a family of 3. Enjoy the preview!

Ilana, Mike, and Mazzy: A New York City Family {NYC Family Photographer}

I love bringing the virtual world into reality. Ilana is the author/owner of Mommyshorts, a great blog about the highs/lows of parenting. She has a distinct (and funny) way of capturing these moments of motherhood. It's also full of contests and giveaways, so don't miss out! After meeting online, I was all too happy to schedule a photo shoot with the whole family. Ilana, Mike, and Mazzy are an adorable family! Mazzy is 23 months old and (as you can well see) full of life and energy. We laughed a lot and ran a lot and came up with some great photos doing it. Enjoy the preview!

Alexandra and Don's New York City Engagement {NYC Engagement Photographer}

I am in love with Alexandra and Don's engagement session! Not just because they are an incredibly fun and photogenic couple (I mean, really photogenic too), but also because we captured some of my favorite things about NY in the photos too! Alexandra and Don met in NYC, fell in love in NYC, and got engaged in NYC, so I feel like this engagement session was a perfect way to capture this amazing time in their lives. We started in Central Park on the rocks overlooking the reservoir, walked around the mall area (one of my all time favorite places in NY), then headed to a rooftop in midtown for some absolutely gorgeous photos (the rooftop where Don proposed)! I loved every second of this shoot and cannot wait for their DC wedding next August! Alexandra and Don, enjoy the preview...
