soon to be 3... {Greensboro Maternity Photographer}

So much excitement and anticipation for this expecting couple. I am so glad to know Izzy and Lane and to have them in our lives. For some reason, they have embraced our family's chaos and even invited our whole crew of 5 to their gender reveal party a few months back (it's a boy by the way!). It's still a party that my 5 and 3 year old talk about constantly because the big reveal moment was done by spraying colored paint (with water guns) all over Izzy and Lane...definitely the most creative gender reveal I have seen yet. My kids call it "the party where everyone shot Izzy and Lane." We cannot wait to meet this little man!

all brand new...Milly's first blog appearance! {Greensboro Newborn Photographer}

Sweet baby Milly...I have been waiting so patiently to meet her! She is the daughter of good friends (and neighbors) Dacia and Kyle, so this photo shoot was even more special. There are dreams of her playing with my kids and learning way too many inappropriate things from them (sorry guys) and watching her grow up just down the street from us. She is so well loved already by everyone she meets. Dacia and Kyle have made a beautiful home for her to enter into and I am thrilled to be a part of this new life as a family of 3. Way too many favorites to share, but how could I help it? So much love for you Milly!

And yet, I know what they are feeling and thinking...just 6 weeks ago there was only one child and there were thoughts of "how will this work?" It just does. The 2nd child arrives and you immediately cannot imagine life without them. So much sweetness in the Raisbeck family. And I am just so grateful to have been able to photograph these early moments of being 4.

Lesley-Ann and Blake's Timberlake Farm Wedding {Greensboro Photographer}

I don't shoot weddings anymore, so this wedding was my exception...and it was a good one. Lesley-Ann and Blake planned the most beautiful and intimate wedding complete with so many rustic details that personally make me very happy. From a gorgeous outdoor venue at Timberlake Farm, to farmer's market flowers, to wooden staked signs, to old china, to countless pots of homegrown succulents, to 2 rows of farm tables to seat the whole party (my personal favorite)...this wedding was filled personal touches to make this day even more of a celebration. There was no bridal party, just 2 people in love surrounded by their family and very close friends. And I felt honored to be a part of it.
