Lauren and Jason's Snug Harbor Wedding {Staten Island Wedding Photographer}

I feel so connected to this wedding and it's events, mostly because this is my 4th time to photograph an event in the King family life! Today was Lauren and Jason's wedding, but I first met Lauren at her sister Michelle's wedding that I photographed 2 years ago. Since then, I've photographed Lauren and her oh so adorable daughter Natalie (she's the sweet 4 year old you'll see in all the photos below) and I've photographed Michelle and Paul with their son AJ too! Needless to say, this wedding was one I was very excited to be a part of. Lauren and Jason had a perfect June day for their outdoor wedding at Snug Harbor. And while this day was all about them, it was built around Natalie too as they made their family of 3 official. So much emotion was in every moment and while I was only with them for a few hours, I feel compelled to show you as many photos as I can right here on the blog! Lauren was absolutely stunning and Jason was just beaming the whole day...a perfect combination in my opinion. Enjoy the preview Lauren and Jason!! Much more to come...

an afternoon with JACK {personal}

I am 9 months pregnant and while most of the time I am simply wishing that this new baby girl make her arrival quickly, I am also trying to take in my last days of being a mother to just one. Jack is 2 years and 4 months old now and while at times it's hard to believe he's that old, I also find that it's even harder to remember life without him! He defines so much of my life in all the ways I hoped he would. He makes a better person as I hope to model a life that will inspire and encourage him throughout his life. He is funny, incredibly loving, smart (which makes him opinionated and perhaps a little bossy too), and just all around fun! So, here in my last days of being to mother just one, I spent a short afternoon trying to capture all the little ways that he makes me smile on camera. I love you Jack!

Smith family of 5 {Long Island Family Photographer}

It's been 2 years since I last saw the Smith family and I was so happy to see them again, this time as a new family of FIVE! I love the chance to see a family grow and obviously love it even more when I get to capture that transition through photos. The Smith family welcomed sweet baby Owen into their family just 2 weeks ago and they honestly look like pros at having 3 boys in the house already! Colin is the ultimate big brother (at age 5) and Brady (age 3) is figuring out just what being a big brother for him looks like right now:) Thank you for letting me be a part of this sweet time in your family! Enjoy the preview...

Audrey's turning 2! {NYC Children's Photographer}

Once again, this photo session defines why I love my job so much! I met Audrey last year just before her first birthday. She was full of spunk and energy then and now she is turning the big 2 and that same spunk still defines her. We met in the West Village at one of my favorite gardens in the city (St. Luke's in the Fields) and Audrey and I just played together. She is sweet, affectionate, and only a little opinionated (as 2 year olds should be)...I loved every moment! Happy birthday Audrey! I can't wait to see you next year!

Ethan's 4 month visit to the Highline {NYC Baby Photographer}

Prepare yourself...here is Ethan...all 4 months of him! And be sure to get a really close look at those chunky legs and arms! As I'm not sure that I'll ever have a kid with so many rolls, I love to take them in when I can:) Ethan is one happy little 4 month old and our visit this time could not have been better. We strolled the Highline (it's no secret that this is one of my favorite places in all of NYC) along with his brother Ryan (who made the Highline his personal jungle gym) and his amazing parents Sarah and Allen. It was a perfectly cloudy morning with only a few sprinkles and I LOVE what we came up with. Enjoy the preview!
