sweet baby Boone (Greensboro Newborn Photographer}

So grateful that Boone is in the world! And selfishly grateful that I have more reasons to photograph this amazing family. Big brother Shep has been a favorite to photograph these past 2 years (along with his parents of course) and now with the newest addition making them a family of 4, there is even more love to photograph in the Hayes house. Welcome to the world baby Boone!

all the fun with the Beekman's {Greensboro Family Photographer}

This afternoon session at the Beekman's home was just perfect. We got cozy on their backporch, I got a private concert in their living room, we played in leaves and I got to watch 3 kids be so affectionate with one another that it made my heart melt. These are the moments you live for as a family and I'm so grateful to have captured some of them here.

an afternoon with the Koch family {Greensboro Family Photographer}

I used to think photographing babies was my favorite thing, but as my own kids have grown older I have realized how much I truly love photographing each phase of childhood (newborn to teenager). There is so much unique about each stage, from those tiny baby feet that steal my heart every time, to the toddler steps, to the missing front two teeth, to learning where a childs' passion and creativity lie, to hearing about how they want to be a contributor this world in their own unique way....I love how I get to capture each phase and I love the challenge of learning about the children I get to photograph during our short time together. Koch family, thank you for letting me photograph you with your missing front, your love of cowgirl boots, your passion for dance and your all around joy for being together!

McLeod family of 3! {Greensboro Family Photographer}

When you get to photograph your friends, you definitely count your lucky stars. I do not take it for granted when friends ask me to photograph their families. It's such a fun way for me to spend time together with people I love and without the rest of my own crew there to distract me too (ha!). Truly though, in Milly's 2 years of life I rarely get to spend time with her without 1 of my 4 kids occupying her attention. So, this family session had all the fun and all the feelings for me. It was also just a perfect fall afternoon with beautiful light and leaves to play in. Thank you McLeod's for trusting me with your family photos!
