It's always fun to photograph people you have mutual connections to. Molly and James and I have many mutual connections (even more than I knew before we started our session together), so it felt like I was photographing old friends right from the start. I loved everything about this session! The couple, the setting (from Molly's house to Old Salem), the weather...really it was the perfect afternoon! Molly and James, thank you for letting me be a part of your engagement...I hope you enjoy the preview!
This entire session was a win for me...it was in Blowing Rock (one of my favorite cities in NC) and it was with Bryce (who clearly is easy to take pictures of)...what more could you ask for?! I have many instant favorites, but these are just a few to share for now. Bryce, thank you for putting up with every request of mine and also for being willing to try anything even with a sprained ankle...enjoy the preview!
It's completely cliche to say, but totally true...it's a small world! I met the Roether's first in NYC nearly 2 years ago (at the time they were just a family of 3), this meeting (with the Roether's as a family of 4) we met in NC where we each live just about an hour away from each other...small world for sure! Regardless of where we live, I'm just so happy to have been able to photograph them again, especially now with the new addition of Audrey. So many great photos to choose from, but here are my initial favorites! Can't wait to see you all again!
Meet the Blackwells...such a happy family!! With 2 beautiful girls (ages 2 and 1...I will forever be impressed by this age span), they are not short on cuteness or energy. We spent our morning around downtown Greensboro running, jumping, laughing, playing with our favorite doll (who has made it into the photo shoot too), and having the best time. I could not have asked for more from them. Enjoy the preview!!
