Gretchen and Ed: Engagement Preview

I love surprises even if they're not my own. This weekend Ed took Gretchen to NY and much to her surprise PROPOSED while they were here! I'm so glad Gretchen called me for an engagement shoot just a day after the proposal! We spent the afternoon out (along with most of NY) enjoying the amazing weather. We started at the Highline (still one of my favorite places in NY) and ended on the rooftop of Metro (it pays to have a rooftop connection in the city). Such a great afternoon full of great photos! Congratulations Gretchen and Ed!

Jack is Here

It's been an exciting 3 weeks for Jenny Sherouse and family! Baby Boy Jack (the newest photo inspiration for Jenny Sherouse PHOTOGRAPHY) was born February 22. There will be many more Jack updates to come, but for now here's a sneak peak at the newest love of my life.

Rauschenbusch Metro Ministries

This is Rauschenbusch Metro Ministries (RMM) 15th Anniversary Year! There will be many exciting things happening this year to celebrate and I'm so glad to be a part of it. One way I'm participating is through photos (go figure). I'm spending time with each of the various programs to help give a fresh new look at what they do. So far, I've been hanging out with Page Turners (the after school program for the elementary aged) and the Teen Center (the after school program for middle and high schoolers). Greek Christmas Photos: A Late Preview

I couldn't post these photos before Christmas since they were being used for Christmas cards, but I figured we're plenty removed from the holidays now. I always love photographing the Greek's, who wouldn't? And this was such a fun shoot to do. We spent the morning in East Nashville (one of my favorite places) hanging out at I Dream of Weenie, the antique store and Pied Piper Creamery. We ended up with some really great photos too! Thanks for letting me share them.

Nicole and Jon: Preview

What a perfect day for a wedding! 65 degrees, blue skies, and a south Florida destination...it really could not have been any better. Nicole and Jon were what made this day absolutely perfect though. They were so much fun to spend the day with! And they were definitely one of the easiest couples to photograph...no bad photos here. I have so many favorites from today, but I had to choose just a few to preview. Congratulations to you both! Much more to come...

Dave and Steph: Preview

I couldn't post these photos until now since they were being used for holiday cards this year, but now that's it's January 1st I figured it was about time. All of these were taken in their backyard...makes a NYC girl a little jealous these days. We had such a fun morning together in late November, and it was early morning too (7:30am actually). I love these two!! Happy New Year Dave and Steph!!
