Erin is one of those people who you know will make your day better. She never stops smiling (seriously, never), she is fun and energetic, and she loves to laugh (I think you will be able to tell that just by looking at her photos). I've known Erin for almost 4 years now and I'm so glad that I got to photograph her to prove all of those things in photos! She is a talented singer and actress in the city and someone I will definitely miss when we leave this place. Thank you for such a fun afternoon Erin!!

Mindy: Preview {NYC Portrait Photographer}

You know those people who are unable to take a bad photo? Well, that's Mindy. She is unbelievably photogenic (and apparently didn't know it either)! On top of being able to take a great photo, she's also an incredibly fun person making this a great afternoon mini-session in the Lotus Garden. I think her photos speak for themselves.

I have been working with Ken and his company KAS Placement for a few months now, but this time we did something a little different and ventured outside of the office for a shoot. We spent our time on the Upper East Side as we worked our way over the to the Carl Schurz Park on the East River (a first visit for me). In the end, I think we came up with some great images! KAS Placement (NYC Photographer)

I met up with Ken Sundheim and his staff at KAS Placement yesterday afternoon. Ken is starting a career coaching section of his business and contacted me to partner with him on this new venture by offering professional headshots to each new client. I will also be working with Ken on general website photos for various publications and speaking engagements he is a part of. As business grows, I think you'll be seeing quite a few photos from the people I meet through KAS. Here's a few shots we took yesterday afternoon for the launch of their new coaching website.

Metro/RMM Staff Photos: Part 1 (NYC Photographer)

I believe my connection to Metro Baptist Church and Rauschenbusch Metro Ministries is no surprise, especially since my husband Alan serves as Pastor there. But despite my obvious reasons for being a part of this church and it's non-profit, it is home for me in the city. It's a place to belong, it's a community to serve with, it's where my son is loved and adored...and that is no small thing. These are a few of the staff who make up the Metro/RMM community, Part 2 will come when the weather allows us back on the roof again (can you tell I'm ready for spring?).

I was so excited when Emily got in touch with me over a month ago about this shoot. She and Desiree were meeting up for a friends weekend in the city and they thought a photo shoot together was the perfect way to commemorate the occasion...I couldn't have been happier! They were so much fun to hang out with! Despite the cold, they were still willing to go through with their outfit plans without complaint (I'm pretty sure I complained more than they did as I stayed bundle in my coat, scarf, and gloves the whole time). And to top it off, we were on the Highline...one of my favorite places in the city! Have a great rest of your weekend Emily and Desiree!
