I first met the Nabors family when Ashe was just a few days old. He is running and laughing now and will be a proud big brother in just a few weeks. Sarah told me she wanted to capture "Ashe being Ashe" and to have photos of their relationship with just him before his baby sister arrives. That's pretty much the best description of any photo shoot I could ask for. I'm so happy to have shared this time with you all...can't wait to hear the good news of Ashe's little sister!

So much excitement and anticipation for this expecting couple. I am so glad to know Izzy and Lane and to have them in our lives. For some reason, they have embraced our family's chaos and even invited our whole crew of 5 to their gender reveal party a few months back (it's a boy by the way!). It's still a party that my 5 and 3 year old talk about constantly because the big reveal moment was done by spraying colored paint (with water guns) all over Izzy and Lane...definitely the most creative gender reveal I have seen yet. My kids call it "the party where everyone shot Izzy and Lane." We cannot wait to meet this little man!

38 weeks and glowing: a mini maternity session {Greensboro Maternity Photographer}

This sweet couple is about to have a baby any day! Kanako is nearly 39 weeks pregnant in these photos and she is about the prettiest pregnant woman you could meet. I always love maternity sessions, but something about the timing of this one made it feel even more exciting as news of their baby can come any day! Thank you for taking time with me in your final days of pregnancy...I loved every minute!

a downtown greensboro maternity session {Greensboro Maternity Photographer}

I think it's rather fitting that one of my first sessions in Greensboro would be maternity. It's a new start for my business here in this city and what could capture that idea better than an expectant mother and father! It goes without saying that I loved my time with Andrea and Cooper! Andrea is stunning at 32 weeks pregnant (I happen to know she still runs every day with this bump, so I am supremely jealous of her energy). Up for anything and committed to several outfit changes, we made our way throughout downtown Greensboro. We started out at a friends downtown loft, then made our way to the Greensboro Historical Museum, and ended up in Center City Park. It was the perfect afternoon! Andrea and Cooper are expecting a boy this July and I cannot wait to meet him (and can't wait to have his face here on this blog too)!! So excited for you both!

Jessamine's brooklyn maternity shoot {Brooklyn Maternity Photographer}

I admit, this shoot happened nearly 4 months ago and it is only just now showing up on my blog! But even 4 months late, it's still totally worth it to put up here. Jessamine had that perfect maternity glow. She was comfortable and content in her pregnancy and took every moment in stride. We met in Dumbo and took photos in Chad's very cool office (so jealous of that huge window) and then walked the streets nearby. It was a fantastic afternoon and I am still in love with these photos. Congratulations again on your sweet baby boy Jessamine and Chad! Thank you for letting me be a small part of your expectant time!
