featured on Brooklyn Bride {NYC Engagement Photographer}

I'm so excited to be featured on Brooklyn Bride! For all you brides (and grooms) out there, this is definitely one of the best wedding blogs to find daily wedding inspiration from. I've been married nearly 10 years and I look at it often thinking of all the fun things I'd do at my wedding now:) You might remember my shoot with Leighanne and Adam this fall (definitely one of my favorite shoots), but here it is once more...thank you Brooklyn Bride!

mini West Palm Beach session with the Snow's {Family Photographer}

This Christmas we got to spend time in West Palm Beach with Susan, Jeff, and Harrison. It had been 8 months since our last visit together, so this was an incredibly special time for all of us. Jack and Harrison had a whole week of playing together where Jack promptly showed everyone that he wasn't the sharing type (sorry Harrison, we'll get better). Harrison is a very special kid (and not just because he's one of our favorite nephews) and his parents are pretty great too:) For those of you interested in knowing a little more about his life these last 14 months, you can visit his website here. And since no visit can go without at least a few photos with his Aunt Jenny...here's a little look!

peek-a-boo with Aunt Jenny...I taught him that:)

A New Year's Wedding: Paige and Garrett's Wedding Preview {NYC Wedding Photographer | NJ Wedding Photographer}

Paige and Garrett's wedding could not have been a better way to bring in the New Year. And while I was sort of wishing for a snowy January 1st to set the backdrop, we lucked out with a sunny and near 50 degrees January 1st instead. It really was a beautiful day (and not just because of the weather). Paige and Garrett were so calm and relaxed and were focused solely on each other (as they should have been). And they were surrounded by really good friends and family making the whole day just feel right.  Paige and Garrett, thank you for letting me be a part of your day! Enjoy the preview!

Teal shoes...what a fun addition of color!

The first meeting, one of my favorite moments.

Paige's bouquet was made even more special by the ribbon tied around it that included buttons from childhood dresses her mother made as well as her great-grandmother's wedding ring! Definitely one of the more creative and thoughtful things I've seen.

The backside of the church was just as beautiful as the front.

It may have been nearly 50 degrees, but it was still cold. Paige was prepared with the perfect accessories though, including her grandmother's fur.

A walk through downtown always leads to good things...

Such a picturesque location.

Another favorite moment...

Sparklers are a good idea no matter what time of day you get married.

You can never go wrong with a photobooth at the cocktail hour (and good props go a long way too)...
